Do you think we will see a Memorial Day Sale - $899 MBA M5?

I recently purchased a Base 13' M5 from apple. Haven't opened it yet as I'm waiting on my Fishskyn to arrive (I'm OCD, don't judge).
I paid $990 or something like that from Apple via price match.
They were recently on sale via BB and Amazon for $950 this past weekend.

Do you think next Monday with the release of Memorial Day sales we might see it drop to $899 or an M4 base go for $699? Obviously no one has a crystal ball but If I see these prices I might return this unopened machine to Apple and order elsewhere to save even more money. Anybody remember last year's Memorial Day Sale prices?

Costco has had some clearance M4's, but they have sold out quickly.

Tbh, I can't see it, if only because of the ridiculous ram prices, but I could be wrong. Memorial day is not that far away to have a wait and see attitude.

Yea I saw a post on reddit for an M4 13' for $699. I checked online at Costco and I see it isn't sold in my local warehouse. For $700 Id go m4. For $900 id buy via Best Buy or Amazon and return to apple to save another $100. If it goes back to $950 on Amazon or Best Buy I will use the machine I have 🙂
