1. My first iPhone 3GS backlight burned out (had to return it)
2. My second iPhone 3GS had a very yellow tint only on the bottom half of the screen and the plastic didn't line up with the metal frame (causing a sharp edge that I didn't like feeling every time I picked up the phone)
3. My third iPhone 3GS also had a yellow tint on the bottom half of the screen and again, the bezel didn't fit the plastic back and the glass was sunken one one side.
After my third one, I was sick of returning them and I'd rather just go back to the iPhone I love. I don't care that I run 2.2.1. At least I don't have to buy and use an iPhone that I am unhappy with. I'd rather be happy and enjoy my iPhone rather than worry about feeling a sharp piece of metal every time I pick up my iPhone and then looking at a screen that looks like something peed on the bottom half.
My issues were not imagined. If they were, then I'd have the same issues on my iPhone 3G because they're supposedly the same design.
PS: You heard it again. What are you going to do about it?
So it was build quality. Not the phone. The phone itself is better. Had you gotten one that was built correctly, you would be happier.
Please don't get him started. He has a host of imagined issues with "build quality" that we don't all need to hear again.
LOL
