Do you think we'll ever get default apps?

iOS 9 came and gone and still no default apps feature.

My hope is that Apple is really perfecting how it would work before release. Granted, Apple may be behind on some features, but when they execute, their implementation is alot simplier.

They don't have to default app everything. Just the main components:

Email, Calendar, Music, Browser, Camera, and Maps just to start.

can't see it happening, 3rd parties would need access to Siri, the Watch etc.

Highly doubt Apple would allow this, it doesn't seem the Apple way. They'll feel like their compromising on their OS experience if they were to allow users to set default apps.

That's a good point but they've been doing all sorts of things no one's expected in recent years. It could happen.

Unless they drop the whole security act, or in other words one of the pillars of iOS's creation, never.
