.....the new LCD's will have the ability to accept two computers hooked up to it at the same time? Both PC & MAC maybe? :confused: :confused:

can't you already get a DVI switch or something? in any case, you will need a way to tell the monitor which computer to display. i highly doubt a PC/Mac duality just because Apple is not in the position to be able to tell PC hardware how to react to the monitor.
 
Just buy a switch. You plug the monitor into the switch along with both computers and you an toggle between them via a button on the switch. We have 3 servers here at work tied to one monitor, one keyboard and one mouse.

You can buy the switches at any computer store,(online or brick and mortar).
