I grabbed a refurb 13 mini couple weeks ago and love it
Haven’t parted with my 14 pro max fully yet cause wanna make sure 100% of stuff is transferred and nothing remains but also have so many phone cases and the device is still in pretty good battery health
And unsure if I want an iPhone 16 model but right now 14 pro max yields $620 trade in value. And if I go the regular pro it’s prolly at least 1099 this year and maybe even pro max is 1299 who knows but at least 1199 for that one
..Will probably drop at least another $100 in trade value when iPhone 16 is announced and don’t really need another iPhone one is enough but eh. Using 14 pro max as an iPod touch but might e sim swap into it occasionally. I like having a big and tiny iPhone on both extremes and pro has 120hz and telepohoto
Also 14 pro max is last device with lightning which has its conveniences for as many lightning cables as I have and last device to get official leather cases which is my most used case. And keeping it cost me nothing while upgrading is gonna have some cost at least a couple hundred bucks up to like half a grand
