Do you use affiliate networks to sell stuff?

I am creating some digital informational products (instructional e-books, etc), and I'm thinking about selling them through affiliate networks such as Clickbank, Amazon Associates, etc.

Anybody here have any experience or recommendations in this area?

No experience in this field but I do know about Writing for O'Reilly because of a friend who wrote for them once.
