No I don’t. I did when it first came out but a few times my phone wasn’t fully charged so I ditched it. I buy a new phone every year anyway so saving the battery isn’t an issue for me.

I do, and have with my iPhone X since the feature debuted. I always charge overnight, and based on my usage, never need to interim-charge during the day (I end up between 20-30% by the evening most days), and I have a pretty set schedule waking up around the same time every day (that happens especially when you have young kids!).

To be honest, my phone is always at 100% when I wake up, so I've never even given it a second thought.

Thats what i was curious about, seems like a bit of an annoying feature
Did you even read his post? He MANUALLY charges it to only 80% cause he's afraid of wear and tear on the battery. He has a false sense that charging only to 80% will make his battery last 10 years 🤣

I put my Pro on my Apple Dock over night and have battery optimization turned on. If I put it on the dock around 11PM or so, it will slow charge the phone so that it is fully charged by 5-6AM. Just perfect for what I need.

Always! It was turn on by default so never switch off. Or, maybe in some iOS version it asked, but do not care. Always charge to 100% overnight, always have planty of battery at the evening. Wonder if it is worth to buy 20W charger, but I think not.

A more reliable charging timer (which iOS Charging Optimization is) is to get a smart wall switch and program the ON time to power the socket (and start charging the phone) an hour or so before you get up. It will never fail you.
