I prefer to use my phone naked but I'm afraid the screen and camera lens might scratch.

Yes, both. A Thule case and an anti-reflex matte screen protector.

Yes - both a glass screen protector and an Otterbox Commuter. I drop stuff. :)

I didn't know Thule made cases. When you use it, do you have to carry your iPhone on top of your car? ;)

I always use a case, but no longer use a screen protector. I'm careful and don't put my phone in the same pocket as keys and other metal objects and don't have trouble with the screen scratching. I just prefer the feel and sensitivity of the screen without a protector.

I have one of these:

But the pink is orange on mine.
Black is tough plastic with fold out stand and coloured part is a rubber/silicone case.
Also glass front screen cover fitted too.

iPhone is not damage resistant enough IMO. Most phones aren't either. I use both case and screen protector.

Thin TPU case from Diztronic to give excellent grip and prevent scratches/dents to the aluminum.

Plastic screen protector to take hits from small sand particles. Also serves to contain glass fragments in the unfortunate event of a display shatter.

I had mine in a commuter case with tempered glass screen protector. Now I have around ten different cases and am using a mophie juice pack air and a tempeeed glass screen protector. We have busy lives and five kids so I try and protect my cellphone as much as possible. I would love to run around with my iPhone naked but don't like the idea of having to get it fixed or replaced because I failed to at least try and protect it. It's a trade off.

I have the same setup. It works well. The Defender case is too bulky and the charging port too difficult to access.
