Yes. I do this on all my devices. Even Android.

Yep. During baseball season I have the current month's baseball schedule on my lock screen. So I can tell who and when they're playing at a glance.

Then sometimes another just blank screen for my home page, to see app's stand out a bit better.

Depends what mood I am in. But generally speaking the same. Always Black and Apple based logo. But recently have gone the MKBHD route.
