I use the 3D glass screen protectors which look like the 2nd pic you posted. With a case it don’t look like I have a protector on and it has protected my screen from shattering the few times I have dropped my phone.

I use the second style of the screen protector from your pictures.

- easy finger travel while swiping.
- covers the entire screen.

I use full glass as well, but I wonder what is benefit of screen protector without these black bezels. Price is quite same. Everyone spot that you have a screen protector, when you swiping, fingers go through edges of tempered glass...
But I saw many vids of youtubers (or pictures) which using these screen protectors and wonder "There is some benefits which I don't know ?" 😊

I guess not enough people care about things like that.

I like a full one sold by Caudabe. I can’t tell my phone has a screen protector with it on. My last 2 iPhones had a sort of sticky coating and I couldn’t wait to get a good tempered glass on them. I’ve used both kinds but don’t like how pocket lint accumulates on the partial ones.

Only advantage of the regular protectors is the case compatibility. Otherwise, they're not great when you have to swipe from the edge of the phone, and usually are more common and people can get them from everywhere.
