I am not big on the built-in apps. I use Fantastical, Shoot, Castro, Soulver, Spark, and Drafts as alternatives to Calendar/Reminders, Camera, Podcasts, Calculator, Mail, and Notes.

I write to the Health app with third-party apps too, but you know, I've been using the iPhone as a way to track health stuff since the App Store opened. For me, the APIs make it manual and more accurate, but I don't necessarily need them.

I don't do iCloud backups either, prefer to keep those on my Mac.

I mostly just type on my phone, lots and lots of typing. And take pictures. And answer the phone when people call me. :p

As you don't do iCloud backups, I hope you use encrypted backups on your Mac because otherwise all that health data isn't getting backed up...

They're mainly apps and Safari though. Which actual phone features do you use?

In that case, what are actual phone features? The accelerometer? The pedometer? The GPS? The GPU? Touch ID? I use all those.

Ahh, I don't really care to be honest. The two apps I use is MyFitnessPal and Human. MFP has its online sync, and Human just sends me notifications to move around.

It's not all about numbers anyway.

EDIT: And hey, just as I post that, just looked in my email and found that Human is started to send out weekly summary emails starting today. They look really cool too!

I'm such a huge fan boy, I use all the stock apps except for stock. When I was in college I used the voice memos app, and now, being in the working world, I use the calendar more than anything. Siri I use all the time, and I also use the share extensions more than not.

What do you use voice memos for now?

I use it for pretty much everything that feels comfortable doing without needing a desktop-sized screen.

Other than making calls it's used for:

- audiobooks, audiobooks, and more audiobooks
- music
- YouTube/Vimeo
- news feeds
- social media
- accessing my large video library on my desktop & streaming to Chromecast + remote control
- light gaming
- shopping
- finances
- taking pictures
- health
- recipes
- calendar
- simple math operations
- notes/ideas/brainstorming
- memos
- dribbble

I don't unfortunately. I used it a while back during a meeting but that was the last time and that was a few weeks ago. It's actually easier just to take notes with my notes app on my iPad than it is to record the whole meeting.

I have iPhone 6 plus and I love it. As Apple continues to unveil new features though, I'm finding that I'm not really using them.

All I use my iPhone for is messaging, web, email, songs, mail, stocks, notes, calendar.

I Never use FaceTime, health, iCloud backup, etc.

You don't even mention the most important feature of your iPhone 6 plus. It's a success symbol that shows hot babes that you've made it, you are a man of means. It doesn't matter if you don't know how to use all the apps and so on. Only one feature really matters, eh?
