Tbh, I don't use it because I don't like the way the warmer screen looks and I'm a night owl so it doesn't really help me.

    EDIT

After seeing a massive amount of positive feedback towards using Night Shift, I've decided to give it a second chance and test it out for a while and see if I enjoy it.

Well, night owl or not, it can still be helpful with actually getting to sleep and sleeping better when you do actually sleep (whether it's later on in the night or not).

I use it and I love it.

Typically when my wife and I go to sleep, I stay up later than she does and I use my iPhone in bed until I'm tired. Before, even with the brightness turned all the way down, the blue-light was still rather harsh and bright. Sometimes, it would wake her and make her grumpy. This is not a good situation to be in. :)

The much warmer colors of Night Shift greatly alleviate that issue. I'm a fan!

I don't understand this. Are we that different as human beings where Night Shift hurts someone's eyes, relieves someone's eyes and causes nausea in others?

I love Night Shift. It causes less strain on my eyes when I'm up late at night in bed reading things online.

I'm a night owl too, but it looks good anyway. I had my iPad Mini next to my 6S Plus this morning at like 2AM and noticed the difference it made. That whole sepia color choice they give you in ebook readers, etc finally clicked with me after seeing that.

I love night shift! It really relieves eye strain at night and I also turn it on when I have a headache and I need to look at my phone :)

Just downloaded 9.3 yesterday so last night was the first time I used it. Not sure if it made for falling asleep faster, but it definitely eased eye strain. Was the prime reason for upgrading OS.

Been using it since beta 9.3 was first released.

Use it for a week, then in the 7th night tune it off at night. You will think how the hell could I used my phone at night before this.

You get used to the warm color after a couple hours after first using it. Turning it off now just hurts my eyes.

Yeah, I love F.lux. I used to jailbreak my phone just to use it. I use f.lux for my rMBP and night shift for my 6s.

I use it and love it and I also is f.lux on my Mac.

I have mine set near the warmer edge of the spectrum. It makes a massive difference to me and makes the screen softer.

I just turn down the brightest of the screen and that works for me.

I use nightshift on my phone
    And flux on my laptop
And flux on my tv (Mac mini)

Easy way to test if you need it: Take a dose of liquid melatonin 2 hours after dinner. If you fall asleep sooner than usual, blue light is probably retarding your melatonin production.

Like others when I jail broke one of the first tweaks was f.lux.

Use it still on my 2011 MBA.

So yet another 'new' iOS feature added which was born from the JailBreaking Community

I use it since the beta. I don't get blinded by my phone anymore when checking for a time during the night.

I thought Night Shift was an incredibly gimmicky idea at first. However, I have to work a late night shift (up at 2 AM) and I find it soothing to the eyes whilst reading text. Even as I type this reply it's scheduled to be turned on with a slightly warm tone.

It was quite caring of Apple to think about the late night users, eh?

Well, like you always say, everyone experiences different things so Night Shift might not work for one person like it does for the next person. It's pretty anecdotal.

(Looks like some has been on the "semantics" train all along. ;))

Right, thus the "can" (vs. "will" or something else like that) part of my reply. Simply pointing out that being a night owl (or early bird or anything like that) doesn't necessrily on its own mean that the feature might not apply or be useful.
