I'm curious, how many of you use Tap to Click on your trackpad?

I personally use a mixture of both tapping and clicking. I'd say it's a 80 / 20 mix, usually clicking to open a program and such and tapping while browsing etc.

It's especially useful when you need / want to be quiet. But really, I just find it more convenient.

So, do you use tap to click or not?

only when my GF falls asleep and i am up. otherwise i inadvertently end up clicking on stuff if i leave it on all the time.

I tap because it's quicker and I don't have to listen to the clicking, which gets really obnoxious. My trackpad is pretty loud compared to some others.

Use the tap mostly, more convenient and can be used on the upper part of the trackpad as well unlike click, I click too but not as much as tap.

I didn't even know tap to click was a feature. I was just enabled it, perhaps I will keep it on.

I tap to click but press in the bottom right corner for right clicks. Two finger tapping has a small lag that annoys me.

I would definately prefer the tap to the click, but when I enabled it I ended up inadvertantly tapping when I didn't mean to. With all of the multi-touch actions in Lion, especially two finger scrolling, it's hard to avoid accidental taps. I might try to enable it again try to train myself to avoid accidental taps.

Never click. It's too damned noisy.
True and it also needs so much force. I can tab forever but clicking is almost like work. Tabbing is similar to doing tibtabs and other gestures.
Clicking is only useful when it is needed (click and hold operations).
