Since re-activating this a few weeks ago, I've had no false taps.
I have an app which controls my Logitech Harmony remote (antique tech), and a double tap runs a shortcut which sends a pause command to the TV and a mute command to my AVR. I use this when I get a call and find it really useful. Double-tapping again sends the same commands which, luckily, work as toggles.
I wish Apple allowed automations to be tied to any app, including FaceTime, but it seems they don't want to allow this.
