Do you use the default mail App?

What is your experience with it?

Trying out various apps and I find myself frustrated with them. The MS fanboy in me is even disappointed with outlook.com tbh and misses the Windows 10 version found on Lumias.

Tried spark and cloudmagic I think it is called and I am like ehh....

I use it and don't have issues with it, but I've done enough support for end users where it just isn't working properly. Not signing in, not updating, folders not syncing correctly with the web client ... it's insanely frustrating.

Objectively (in terms of what its purpose is as an application -- sending and receiving mail) it's pretty crummy, so I normally recommend Thunderbird if it isn't grafting. Otherwise, happy days.

But again, I use it and like it. It works for me. YMMV.

I use it. I have several IMAP accounts and it works perfectly with them.

That said, my iPhone is jailbroken so I can take advantage of a few things - such as color coded accounts, visible attachments, etc.

I do have the Gmail app installed as well (and Outlook although I do not use it) but that's a requirement for one of the JB tweaks I use to turn my gmail accounts into push and not pull delivery.

I use Airmail on all my devices and haven't looked back. It supports all of the features like markup and Mail drop plus there are so many options for sorting mail. I highly recommend you try it out.

I use the Apple mail client. I have 3 accounts.

    Exchange Email for work
Google Apps Gmail for my personal mail
    iCloud account

    Works great for me.

I've also experimented with Outlook, Spark, & CloudMagic.

For my needs, the default client suffices. I'm currently using Spark and am satisfied.

I use the default email app, and like it. However, I do wish it handled multiple email accounts differently, i.e. gave me the option to have an icon for each account. But, alas, I now use the Outlook app, for my work email, etc. thus having a true separation. When I'm not in the office, I don't even want to see a work email, not even by accident...

I have it set up for my grad school email and some other ones I hardly use (iCloud and Yahoo). I mostly use Inbox for my personal Gmail account and Outlook for work exchange email.

I've been using Mail for years now and it works well for my needs. I do wish it allowed for additional flags though. I have more projects than flags so organizing gets a little tough.

The best part though is that, unlike the default mail app on a Windows machine, I don't need a separate Microsoft account in order to use the program!

I use it but I also use AltaMail because in landscape mode the sidebar can be hidden and the email can be viewed fullscreen. That's the only thing that I don't like in the stock app - inability to hide the sidebar in landscape mode.

I keep coming back to the default mail app. But I must saw I did enjoy the outlook app quite a bit. It was the only one I considered a serious replacement to the stock mail app.

For me, I would prefer to use the same mail app on my iPhone and iPad for consistency and experience. However, many devs either don't both with iPad versions or the iPad versions lack essential features (e.g. Landscape mode or exchange support).

However, I'm currently using the default Mail app on my iPad and Spark on my iPhone.

And outlook app also supports using Touch ID to unlock app and see your mail data. This is also really cool.

After the horrors of MailPilot, Spark has been a godsend for me. Have had no problem whatsoever. So confused to how a free app works 1000x better than the damn app I spent $10 on.

I use the standard Mail app on my iPhone and iPad (and on my iMac).
Spark looks interesting but I can't use it for my work mail and I don't like to use two different mail clients.
