Do you use your Apple Watch for fitness?

Yes, use Strava for cycling workouts and the Workout app for dog walks.

Can use one or the other for both but i assign the action button to start an outdoor walk workout.

Yes it’s all I really use it for. I did have a couple of Garmins in the past with my AW but found I didn’t need all the data Garmin provided. AW is enough for me

Fitness is pretty much all I use it for now. After I hit my goal weight and can maintain it, I plan on not wearing my Apple Watch anymore. At some point in the last year, I decided I really don’t like wearing it and have a new traditional watch sitting in my jewelry box just waiting to be used outside of formal settings.

I use it for fitness most days.
I’m currently doing fitness.

Pint curls, in my local.

Yes, every day. I use it to motivate me to stand up from my desk, I track my steps (trying to average 10k a day for 2025), use it to time my walking and yoga workouts, etc. I tried my gf's S5 when she had to get a new one due to a cracked screen and I liked it enough to get my own (S8).

I have the iPhone 16 Pro Max. I am currently running on IOS 26 Beta6. I went out on the trails with my mountain bike and I have my EarPods in to listen to some music. I always turn on the cycling workout part of the workout app. Suddenly I hear a voice cheering me on with my cycling effort, and then she tells me to enjoy listening to the music by the group that was singing it. At different intervals she comes on and gives you some encouragement by saying how much you rode and the amount of time you have spent on the bike. At the end she gives ton of information like she told me I logged 100 miles since the beginning of the year. I love this workout app.

8 years and owning two different Apple Watch I still do it.

Don’t want to waste money and leave alone one of its core features that Apple Watch brings.

Made me stop hating PE class in school, it motivated me a lot, and then work out a lot everyday since Covid and now going to the gym

💪

I also used it to track sports even when I played as a student athlete for a season in flag football last year

I mainly use mine for notifications, time, weather, alarms/timers, music (without phone when exercising), Siri commands, Apple Wallet, and planning to use it for Keys in the future. I’m open to using it for health/fitness, but haven’t had a need/desire yet.

Definitely use mine for all my cardio workouts and walks/hikes. Even use it for my wing foiling with a third party Ap; Waterspeed
👍 y’all use Strava like me? I been using it since May when  WATCH activity challenge required me to run or walk a certain distance

I have friends that use Strava, but I don’t. I don’t really follow the activity challenges or data sharing but I can see how they’re popular. I do have my own weekly goals that I keep track of

I use Strava mainly for their challenges. And to see a journal of all my workouts.

I have a friend from college and a MR user that I follow on there.

Yes, definitely, every day.

I use it to track my pickleball playing. It’s really interesting to see how the data changes over time, too.

Sooorta? I walk, sometimes for exercise, sometimes to get places, and like knowing what's going on with that, but haven't done more than that yet

A little disappointed the watch can't do more in some ways...like it super feels like an iPhone accessory more than I hoped, but it's kinda nice
