I wear it pretty much all day long. Don't shower with it or wear it to bed. In the house I find it useful. Otherwise I'd have to carry my phone with me everywhere which I don't and why I would miss calls or alarms I set to remind me or calendar notifications. Pretty much put it on and forget it.

OP, is the reason you asked the question because you are afraid doing regular daily things around the house you will damage it somehow?

Never have I so hastily searched for an unsubscribe button.

#1: oh yes I do
#2: oh no, not me

I wear mine all the time except for charging at night or showering. Got to meet that move goal. :)

I wear mine until it needs charged.
Which is less than I use to wear my Movado, I basically wore that for 15 years straight , if I wasn't in water.

I put on my Apple Watch for the day after I shower early in the morning and take it off just before I go to bed at night. I charge my Apple Watch nightly.

I wear it until I go to bed. Wish my Sport band would arrive already as the Milanese loop isn't exactly comfortable to wear ALL the time.

Interesting. I find the Milanese band to be be much more comfortable than the sport band. At least the Milanese band "breathes". The plastic-y sport band just makes my arm sweaty. Especially for all-day, every day wear.

No issues with the breathing part on the ML but it would snag my arm hairs when I'd move it around on my wrist. I'm more comfortable now with the sport band.

Around the house is when I get to talk to Siri in private, and use the remote for Apple TV, so yessiree it's on my wrist. I hope to see the day when I can simply plop down on the sofa, raise my wrist, and ask Siri to play Game of Thrones without having to fuss with all the settings and on/off switches.

all day..... I put it on before I get out of bed in the morning.... rinse it and place it on the charger while I shower, after my workout... put it back on and wear it until I go to bed!

I like all the fitness tracking (and the notifications)....

Put it on in the morning and take it off at night. Even when just sitting around house I wear. Only take it off to shower, sleep or swim.

It's on me 24/7 unless it's charging. I do wear it to bed too.

Yep! I only take it off to shower or charge when I'm going to bed. I love that I can just leave my phone in whatever room, and it doesn't matter.

I also wear mine all the time unless charging it. Not only do I do it so I don't miss notifications but also so it will track all my daily activity.

ask the q again in 2-3 months, we'll see then who are the real troopers
Seeing as my pattern of watch wearing has pretty much been "put on when I wake up, take off before going to bed" for the past 20 years of my life, I don't see that changing any time soon. The only difference I seem to have now is a requirement to charge the watch when I take it off, and unlock it when I put it on.

I am wondering if most people where their watch around the house? or just when they go out? I am going to start doing that just cause its better than carrying my phone around all day.

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. It really all depends upon multiple factors. I suspect that each of us will determine our watch wearing schedules based upon our daily routines and exceptions to our routines.

If I'm awake, it's on me, with some exceptions (in the shower, doing yard work, etc.). I want all my steps counted, and while at home it provides the greatest benefit for managing alerts and texts, since I'm often not carrying my phone. My wife is the same way. She was skeptical about the watch at first, but now she's hooked.

I've activated the option to "unlock watch when the phone is unlocked" which is a nice quick way to accomplish that.

For the money I paid for it, I wear it all day from waking to sleep and only take it off for showers and thats only if I have my classic buckle band on.

^This. I do like to keep it on for tracking activity stuff like calories burned or the standing thing, and I do use it quite a bit to reply to messages. I enjoyed my Pebble previously but the Apple Watch is, aesthetically and functionally, so much more useful! :3

I unlock my phone right after putting on my watch just to save having to enter the passcode.

Makes sense. I started out doing that, but tbh it's just as easy to enter a PIN on my watch when I put it on as it is to open my phone with TouchID and then lock it again just to shove it in my pocket.
