Slight exaggeration. Up to 7 days is what I'm seeing. A google search will show you the same articles I'm looking at, from around a month ago. But I do recall seeing at least one article that stated it could be more than a week on certain surfaces. That might have been two months ago. I've been following the flow of disinformation for a while now. It changes constantly.

Not to take this thread sideways, but perhaps when mentioning "disinformation" maybe don't exaggerate?

Still curious as to the source you consider accurate -- suggesting folks google a topic does no good when you're also saying there's substantial inaccuracy in what's being reported. How are we to know what you're seeing as accurate and what you're seeing as disinformation?

Generally when they say time frames like that. "Up to" such and such hours/days/weeks whatever. That is the upper threshold in prime conditions. The actual average in real world conditions is usually less. If it actually consistently survived on surfaces for weeks at a time, the transmission would have been even faster and the infection/death numbers would have been even worse than they are now, but much sooner.

That's strange. The cloth does come folded in a plastic wrap, but it hasn't left any marks on my screen from the folds. If it was that serious, I could always take an iron to it, I guess, but it's a microfiber cloth, not plastic that will mark your screen. Also, no sharp edges at all - again, it's microfiber material. The edges do look like they were cut with scissors in some spots, but you're not cutting your fingers or scratching the glass. When I take it off the keyboard, I loosely fold it to put it away.

One thing, I wish the other Uppercase cloth was dark like the Kuzy cloths. The Uppercase cloths will look dingy faster because of their color (dull beige grey) even if they are clean.

The Kuzy cloths are great cleaning cloths in general. I've been using one for my iPad Pro screen. Like I said before, the Kuzy cloths are a little thinner than the Uppercase cloths.

I may look for a darker cloth similar to the Uppercase cloth for my next purchase. That would be perfect.
So I've been using the Kuzy cloths before I close the lid to avoid the keyboard imprints on the screen. It works for a week or two but then after a while, I start to notice the imprints. I would of thought it would prevent it altogether. Have you ever tried using two cloths? Just not sure if the laptop will go to sleep if I do that.
