Even with full cinema color range improvements in place?

I am personally. It's a nice leap from 6s plus

Glued to my oled tv's but we'll see

7+ is a great compliment to 9.7 pro that also has full cinema color range

hi crazy nice to meet you:)

beauty is in the eye of the beholder. with that said oled>led everytime

I may be in the minority but I honestly couldn't care less. It's by no means a bad screen and that's all I really care about. It looks good enough, isn't a ridiculous resolution that bogs down the gpu, and I can't see the pixels unless I try. That's really all I care about on a phone.

No because the screen on my 7 plus is gorgeous. And I am someone that loves an oled display, but man they perfected LCDs

I'm impressed how far they've push the tech, too

aside from black levels not being perfect "pixel off" infinite black, i think they've nailed it

No. OLED is nice until you get out and try to use it in bright sunlight, it's much harder to see than the current iPhone screen (from experience).
From someone who hasn't used a note 7 in bright sunlight or any of Samsung's flagship phones in the last 2 years...the delusions...current amoled phones have the best displays

As a person who has, the issue just isn't that simple

I saw a few Samsung phones with burn-in at Best Buy.

the worst thing about burn-in is worrying about it and constantly babysitting it. I know this well because I have Plasma TV with burn-in.

I love new tech like OLED but if it has burn-in issue like plasma, I pass.

The Oled because I like using my S7 as a digital clock 24/7 with absolute minimal impact on the battery.

The S7 also had superb video playback.

Having said that, the iPhone 7 display is top notch and I have no complaints at all. I remember how pixely the original iPhone was and I look at the Retina display now with a big smile.

The iPhone 7 Plus has the best ips lcd ever on a smartphone according to displaymate, and I love my iPhone 6s plus 1080p display than any other phone i have used

I have a Note 7 with a beautiful display and I am nevetheless still impressed with the display on my 6S Plus, so of course the IPhone 7 Plus screen looks excellent to me. However I can see the dots on the iPhone 7 display if I look for them. I have weird vision that way. But I can also overlook them when I choose to. The color and brightness of the display are the points of interest to me and the new iPhones are fine as they are. I saw them yet again this evening at Best Buy and was quite happy with how the display models looked.

I'm someone that has had the Note 7 and 7 edge, but now has the 7 Plus. Yes the Samsung displays are beautiful but the 7 Plus screen is a beauty too. I was actually impressed because I thought going down to 1080p would look horrible but honestly I really don't see much of a difference. What the iPhone need to worry about when it does get Oled is burn in. Especially with its rows of icons. But I think Apple will figure it out.
