When I do wrap the cable, I always do the first wrap lightly as not to put strain on the cable where it connects to the brick. Apple has had problems with that part in the past, and while they have upgraded that reinforced part, I still am careful.
I wrap around the hooks, I just make a loop with the cable first so it doesn't go straight from the brick to a hook at a 90* angle. This takes all the stress off the cable and I haven't had a problem with this MagSafe or my old iBook charger which lasted 4 years before the tip in the barrel snapped off...
I honestly don't believe that people don't know about the prongs, I'm pretty certain my MBP came with the cord wrapped around the prongs, so how anyone can see that, then unravel it, then not get it, I mean really??

I do this as well, as suggested to me by a Mac "Genius" lol. Basically just wrap the cord around the center end (where the cable comes out of the brick) first to ensure that the end is not stressed and there is enough slack, then just wrap it around the 2 prongs as usual.
++1 ^^^ Yup, the Genius showed me how to make a question mark sorta' loop before wrapping the cord around the prongs....![]()
