Just got my 14 Pro from Verizon. It was delivered by FedEx.

When I picked up the box, I heard the phone box sliding around all over. Open it up and there’s some bubble packing stuff on top but nothing on the sides or the bottom.

What are these people/companies thinking? I can order some soap and it’ll be packed on all sides. This is a $1,000 phone.

I kinda wonder if the phone is even sound internally after being shipped across the country like this. Can’t set it up till tomorrow.

Just wondering if others are receiving their phones with almost no packing materials.

It doesn't really matter to them. If you make payments you're on the hook for the phone. If you bought it outright they already have their money.

There was a time T-Mobile was shipping iPhones in bubble mailers.

They have looked minimalist to me since the iP X.
But both boxes have been very sturdy and dent resistant.
Shock absorbtion has been well engineered and the contents, in my experience, have arrived in pristine condition. (X, Xs, 14P).
