Just as a question from another thread discussion, I’m curious as to what type of passcode everyone uses here at MacRumors.
Alphanumeric. 13 digits. Haven’t used an all numeric passcode for years.
I must be stupid and hang around stupid people. We all use 4 digit for simplicity.

Yes. But my phone restarts a lot and I at least have to input the code once a day.Do you use TouchID, or soon, FaceID?
That seems a little excessive given that the phone will wipe its contents after 8 failed attempts, so it’s not like you need something super strong to defend against a brute force attack.
...you might want to get that looked at.Yes. But my phone restarts a lot and I at least have to input the code once a day.
Heheh. No. I’m giving it back to AT&T Friday....you might want to get that looked at.
Not excessive at all. Takes 3-4 seconds to enter and I only need it on a power cycle, Touch ID disabled or an update. I’ll never forget it and it’s secure. The odds of anyone finding it out are slim to none.
The odds of me seeing someone enter a 4/6 digit code, very high. Especially since iOS has that great animated light up number delay after press. Ever notice that?
For real.4... honestly if someone really wants to look at pictures of my dog have at it. My life isn't that thrilling that I think everyone will want to steal my secrets!
Oral or suppository?Really sorry to know that you are stupid. Take this daily may help make you smart*.
