Can somebody please help me find a really really good free program that can open .doc files?(i need a program similar to MS Word, a program that will also let me save as .doc)

well, there isn't much out there for OS9 anymore mate. if you were using OSX, I would recommend OpenOffice. after 5 min on google i found this- give it a whirl!!!

Depending on how bad you need it, it's only $30.
I can't believe there are people out there with OS 9!

You could always hunt around for Office 98 or Office:mac (2001). It should be that expensive.
