Can somebody please help me find a really really good free program that can open .doc files?(i need a program similar to MS Word, a program that will also let me save as .doc)

meh - not much out there 🙁
well, there isn't much out there for OS9 anymore mate. if you were using OSX, I would recommend OpenOffice. after 5 min on google i found this- give it a whirl!!!
