Dock animation Poof VANISHED??

Hey for some reasome i notice that the animation when removing items from the dock by dragging it outside the perimeter of the dock is gone. Is that an update that i occur without me noticing i was working with a lot of ms stuff and i notice that poof animation just doesn't occur anymore...

Huh, you're right. My poof has disappeared as well.
That poof was a little ...camp though, was it not?
Like that sparkling effect around new apps in Launchpad.
-thankfully that went the way of the poof as well.

The "Poof" went away when 10.10 was released.

I didn't realise it had gone. To be honest I very rarely delete icons from my dock so that's probably why. I can't say I'm that bothered though.

Probably Ive's idea. He basically wants to completely remove all of the skeuomorphic design that was associated with the Scott Fortsall era of software UI/UX
