Dock badges are small

I haven't changed my dock size since installing and the notfication badges are so small I can't see them.

I find them way too tiny as well! I think Apple wants us to use the Dock so big that it covers half of the screen like on the computers in the Apple Store.

In SL the badges were the right size. Why can't they stay the same size regardless of the size of the Dock?

Hi, I'm new to the board but a long time follower. I'm using a 27" iMac and I like to bring down the size of the dock a bit. After upgrading to Lion the notify badge looks really bad when adjusting the size, this was not the case in SL. I'v provided a small thumb for u to see.
