Twice so far today, my dock just died. I can't click on anything in it, Activity Monitor's CPU history dock icon doesn't animate, and command/tab doesn't work at all.

However nothing in Activity Monitor says not responding.

To fix it, I had to reboot twice, and then after that, I got a kernel panic:

Wed Oct 8 07:23:48 2008
panic(cpu 1 caller 0x00193077): "pmap_flush_tlbs() timeout: " "cpu(s) failing to respond to interrupts, pmap=0x536500 cpus_to_respond=0x1"@/SourceCache/xnu/xnu-1228.7.58/osfmk/i386/pmap.c:4580

Any ideas what's going on? It seems to be working fine for the moment.

Thanks.

the useful info for a Kernel Panic is after "Backtrace continues…". the only thing i can see is a bad graphics card?

is your MacBook Pro under warranty? maybe you should get it checked?
