Dock extender with extra USB power

I've been looking for a while for a dock connector with an extra usb to power my iPhone while i'm using it in my car, the cable that comes out of my stereo doesn't carry power and i want to add the extender in between to charge the phone.

Has anyone ever seen one? or will i have to make my own?

So your car has a USB or 3.5mm jack?

Could just buy a separate car charger? Would be cheaper but another wire to contest with.

If it's USB it should charge it, my car has USB port for any type of usb connection and it charges/plays.

It does exist. I just found it. I am getting a new stereo and found the one I want unfortunately it only sends .5 amps USB and new iPhone 4 is 1 amp for charging. So if your doing bluetooth or anything like that your phone is dying faster that it can charge.

It has a micro USB to USB on the side that you can plug in.

I am thinking about going with a pro clip mount which has pass through and keeping this plugged in all the time. I can just mount my phone and go.
