    Okay...
I cannot, for some reason, add, move, or remove applications from the dock. I used to be able to hold down on an icon and drag it around to either the desktop (to remove) or to another spot on the dock. Now, when I hold down, all that pops up is the menu you get when you right click on an application. In that menu, however, there is no option to "Remove from dock" or "Add to dock" like there used to be.

    I have entered
    Code:
defaults write com.apple.dock contents-immutable -bool NO; killall Dock
in to Terminal and it didn't help at all. I even place YES in place of NO and nothing happened.

    Help please????

If parental controls are on then there is an option to lock the dock. Check on that.

You can move application icons while they are open.
