what's up with my dock icons? the left one is of my applications folder, and the one on the right is of my user folder.

i've removed them and put them back. restarted. nothing works. someone help please.

no they're all attached to the dock as usual but their icons are all wrong. the app's folder should have an imprinted capital A, and the user icon should be of the house. i have leopard by the way. i don't know if that clears anything up.
 
is nobody looking at the picture i attached? the users folder is showing an icon of a .psd file i have somewhere on my desktop, and the applications folder is showing the contacts icon or address book icon.

Yeah, and I'm telling you that's how Stacks work; you see the contents, not the folder. If you want to see the folder, go back to Tiger. :confused:
 
Well you don't have to go back to tiger to get it to look like a folder.

If you're running the latest version of Leopard you can right click on the folder and click "Display as Folder"

Don't worry the way they look is a feature not a bug. QUIT FREAKING OUT!
