I tried using Time Machine for the first time while working on a printer issue (see Printer Issue thread:mad:) and failed to fix the printer issue and screwed up my MBP at the same time. I can't even begin to explain what I did but it seemed to reset my whole computer...my music, photos, bookmarks, etc are still intact but it seems like Safari, Mail, iTunes have never been opened. None of the stuff in my dock was there. The main issue for now is that when I click on something in the dock like Safari, the menu bar shows it's open but the no active window appears. I am using Spaces and can go to the app and open window that way but sincgle click in the dock doesn't work...any easy fixes out there???
Thanks, Tom

Still efforting the printer problem and asked my daughter to print something and it was successful using her Mac, so it's still on the network, I just don't know how to find/add it.
