Dock Modification Software

I know about transparent dock, being able to modify the dock appearance, but i remember that there was another application that also did that, and i forgo the name, does anyone know of another one, the one that stops the icons from bouncing?

ClearDock gets you a transparent dock for free. Don't know about icon bouncing.

you can turn the bouncing off in Mac OSX.

System Prefs>Dock>Animate opening applications

I think this only stops it from bouncing when opening, not permanently, such as an update window opens it'll bounce to get your attention.

I usually like the bouncing icons in the dock.

But I agree when you adium/ichat (or any other chat app.) it gets a little much of the bouncing.

No, Adium is the correct name for the chat app. Actually, it's Adium X, and in both Adium and iChat you can turn off the bouncing dock effect.
