All iPads Dock not coming up for Side or Split View on one side of iPad

Hi,

Have an iPad Pro 10.5 with iPad OS 13.4.1, and I can't get the dock to come up on swipe up in landscape mode on the side with the Smart Connector. I've cleaned the screen and once I bring up the dock on the working side when I rotate the iPad the dock stays and I can then go to Side or Spilt view no problem. Just can't get the dock to come up on that Smart Connector side. The other side works fine, is this a hardware issue or software?

Could it be due to a screen responsiveness issue?
