Dock Not Responding To Double Clicks

So I have a weird issue. Whenever I right click on my dock i'm usually supposed to very quickly get a list of option like open/close the app and etc. However, now, it takes very long [i'm talking over a minute at times]. This happened after I tried to install tinkertool unsuccessfully. I opened the mounted tinkertool file, double clicked it, the application appeared in my dock but nothing happened. Then I copied it to my desktop and nothing happened again. So i force quit both application and they remained on my dock. So I did a killall Dock and they were gone, however, from then on everything on my dock is working fine except for the right click issue. And yes i do have time machine backups of my dock.
