Just curious if there was anywhere to hide the dock only on certain application startups?

For example I would love the dock to be hidden when Im browsing the web, or using dreamweaver and fireworks. But for anything else its convinient NOT to have the dock autohide itself.
Just wondering:)

Well, I don't know what it is, but there is some way to do it; DVD player does it anyway. If you have .Mac, post on their support forums. You'll probably get an answer there.

Belated Post...

Apple-Option-D ... I heard about a guy that ended up needing an OS reinstall after altering the system files that take care of that... so anyway... once you get used to the Apple-Option-D it's blinding fast and second nature as you need it...
