For some reason I'm having trouble figuring this out.

What is the difference between the Apple Universal Dock and the Apple 3g dock?

Also - for cases that are not sliders, like the Switcheasy Capsule Neo, how do you use a dock with these? The Neo, for isntance, comes with a Universal Dock Adapater - I assume that is to allow you to use the 3g in the Universal Dock? But does it dock through the case?

Also - any docks worth noting out there besides the Apple ones?

3G dock is for iPhone 3G only & universal dock is... well... universal

Good to know the Neo would work with the universal dock.

Quesiton - a dock like the Griffin Simplifi - I assume that works the same way? the 3g adapte will make th capsule neo work with it?

Simplifi has no Line-Out sound connector like the Apple Docking Station as far as I can see...
