anyone noticed that unread badges on the dock in Lion are low res and pixelated? It's especially apparent when the dock is small. Google doesn't know, is it just me?

Noticed on both Mail.app and Things.app

I noticed in on the Mail App. When small it doesn't look circle.

However when larger it looks circle.

Teething problems are part of an initial release, but I really wouldn't worry about it.

What ever happened to the minimalist look? The new badges are really hard to read whenever you're using a small dock size!

I noticed this too. The dock badges really need to be bigger.

I'm not sure if bigger is the word... but at least cleaner! The SL badges weren't bigger than the ones in Lion, they were just simpler, without gradients and bevels and everything else which renders poorly on small sizes!

I guess a simple solution would be to have an option (or have it simply preset) to have a minimum size for the badge to scale down to.

My dock icons look good but the login picture is pixelated on my system, very noticeable when the gear stick account picture is used, less so when using other pictures but they're definitely still pixelated.
