I'm running Tiger, with all the latest updates installed and i'm having trouble with my dock.

I have it at the bottom of the screen, and have it set to hide automatically. However, it now doesn't reappear, and to view the dock i have to press Cmd+Alt+d but sometimes that doesn't work either.

Anyone any ideas/having the same problem?

Nope, nothing like that. But now, for some reason, it's all working fine, so i don't know what's going on.

I guess i'll repost when/if things go wrong again.

Sometimes a simple restart can get things working properly again. Hopefully it all stays normal and functional for you. 🙂

Again

The problem has reappeared, for no reason as far as i can tell.

I'm also having trouble with being able click on things in Safari. For example, I am unable to click on an email in my gmail inbox to allow me to read the full message, and I am also unable to click on my Facebook status to change that.

Could the dock and clicking problems be related?

I have issues like that with Safari every now and then, but resetting it from the Safari menu always fixes it for me.

As for the Dock, have you tried removing a file named com.apple.dock.plist and restarting?
