Wondering if anyone has noticed when you open your Macbook and it awakes from sleep (only has done it when asleep for a long period of time) the dock is clear and shiny, then quickly reverts to its current look?!

I've noticed this too, sometimes it does this and sometimes it doesn't... it's weird.

Any chance of someone grabbing a screenshot of this?

I'd like to see it, too. When I come back from sleep I am looking at the login screen so I can't see the dock.

The dock is no longer shown from a set of image files. It is rendered by the gpu. What you are seeing is probably just a slight lag time after waking for it to be "re-rendered".

Any way for it to be permanently "un-rendered"?
