Docked apps Do not WORK!

My docked apps do not work. I can get texts but cant reply to them (sms app is in the dock), cant check my mail, cant call anyone but i can receive calls... Just restored my phone and that didnt help.
Help please

fixed

so i fixed the problem, i don't really know how it worked but I was just watching a movie and really upset i couldn't use my phone so i just kept tapping on the screen (for like 30 minutes) and then i tried to use the phone and all of a sudden it worked... weird but i hope it helps for anyone else that ever experiences this problem.
