The very same team of people who made "The Death of Yugoslavia" (again, BBC) recently broadcast another excellent three part series "Putin, Russia and the West". Personally, I thought it could have focussed a little bit more on internal matters in Russia (such as the deliberate destruction of a critically constructive and functioning civil society), and less on the minutiae of the waxing and waning relationship with the west, but overall, it was an excellent series. The superb interviews alone made it well worth watching.
