I am looking to go in to finally receive a replacement for my wireless mighty mouse which has fallen victim to the dreaded scroll ball problem.

Now, I only have one opportunity to go to the Apple Store, which makes me wonder, shall I need any documentation/proof of purchase for the mighty mouse?

If so, what papers are required?

I have exchanged my mighty mouse with no documentation whatsoever. If you want to save your a trip to apple you can go to your local grocery store, grab some isopropyl alcohol and it will fix the scroll problem.
