Documents Folder Keeps Going Away in Finder

    Hi everyone!

    This is my second post. I accidentally dragged the Documents folder from the Finder sidebar. I then went in to /Users/MYUSER/ and dragged the Documents folder back into the sidebar, it seems to stay there for a while be then after some time it goes away.

    Can anyone help me?

    Take a look in Finder>Preferences>Sidebar tab, and make sure Documents is checked there.

    Thank you for the help. When I check the box it appears at the bottom of the sidebar and when I move it anywhere else on the sidebar it seems to disappear! EDIT: I checked the box then immediately relaunched the finder and it didn't
    disappear! Thank you!!

    I have noticed that Finder sometimes "forgets" updates to the Sidebar, and I'm not sure why that happens. Sometimes, changes I make to one Finder window are "forgotten" when I open a new Finder window. I haven't been able to figure out why.

    For now, I'd suggest just leaving the Documents shortcut at the bottom of the Sidebar and not moving it :)
