Does 14” chesttop with low DPI

I’d like to try and use it as just the single monitor having mounted it onto vesa tray. I have a bad eye sight already, and would like to be able to fit 2 windows easy, side by side. What’s the lowest easily legible dpi settings from the default one? I’m asking because it’s 8gb mini or a pro 16gb with everything else that costs the same.
