Does 3.01 work with internet tethering?

I just received notice that 3.01 is available, but I didn't want to install it if disables the AT&T workaround to access internet tethering. Has anyone had any experiences with this, yet?

According to Apple, the only things included in 3.0.1 are fixes for the SMS-related memory issues. I don't think you'd lose much by skipping it.
