A lot of members here have said fast chargers damages your phones battery long term. Is that really true? Why doesn't Apple include a fast charger with their 1k+ phones when the majority of Android makers include it in their phones?
Dude you wont probably use your phone for more than 5 years. Don't worry about changing & battery and all.
Use any charger as long as they are good quality (from big brands) & you are good to go.
If you want to get technical, fast charging theoretically can cause a battery to experience more wear over the years. In a practical sense, I would expect that the effect would be negligible over the time period that most people keep a phone/battery.
I guarantee this is not why Apple doesn't bundle a fast charger.
Heat is higher when using a fast charger. More wattage = more heat. And heat is the number one enemy of any battery.
The thing is, probably most phones have sensors to detect when there is more heat than expected, so it would automatically lower the current to prevent serious damage.
It will still be harmful to the battery but probably not enough to notice immediately, maybe after one year or more.
Remember, fast charge was not introduced to be used all the time, but when you need it!
Some phones (like galaxys) let you disable it and charge at normal pace.
