Does a Ibook G3 hardrive fits into a Macbook?

My macbook hd just died and untill a get a new one, i was thinking about replacing it with my G3 iBook hd.

Does anyone knows if its possible?

If so, how do i do it?

No. iBook drives have PATA interfaces, MacBooks have SATA interfaces.

And it wouldn't have worked, anyway, unless you were going to reinstall everything. The iBook HDD would have had a PowerPC-only OS.
