I love the real estate of the screen but i had one for a few weeks and I discovered I do a lot of stuff one handed; like wheeling my suitcase through an airport while texting with the other hand.

Best size for me was the 5 but, with that out the window (not getting an SE), I figure why not go huge. But I need to be able to use it one handed. I can JUST do this with the iPhone X.
 
I don't use one, but it looks like it just helps with the grip
I would think the size and reach issues would be reduced some, but the only way you would know if it worked for you is to try it yourself
Everyone's hands are different, and your mileage may vary

My wife uses one on her 8 Plus and loves it. Said it makes holding the phone much easier.
 
Yes. They work so well that I've started selling them!
