Just wondering what happens to a iPhone 3G after activation and then service is discontinued?
iPhone is an iPod touch with the phone feature obviously(except for the camera). If you discontinue your service how are you going to call?
thats why hes asking if it can function as an iPod Touch.
I know that Apple said your old 2G phone can be used as a hand-me-down or "wi-fi" pod. So I think it will be a "wi-fi pod" with a camera and speakerphone. Nice!
Except, I like making phone calls.
That's how my roommate is rocking my 2G now: An iPod Touch with hardware volume controls and a camera. Good deal.
Yep. Service is disconnected on mine.
I was talking about the 3G version NOT the 2G version...
They'll function exactly the same way.
So am I.
