I just powered up my iPhone 11 and I'm in a location where my cell service is weak and it switches between the cellular network and wifi calling. I prefer wifi calling but I couldn't' figure out how to force it to wifi calling when i'm at home. I just turned on airplane mode and it allows me to make calls and receive incoming calls surprisingly....I'm assuming this is a way to force my iPhone 11 to wifi calling?

Yes, all calls and text will be routed through WiFi with WiFi Calling. it works great if your reception sucks indoors. Whenever you have very weak signal, it should automatically switch to WiFi Calling though.

My problem is that I have a weak bouncing cell signal so the phone often switches to use the cellular network when it receives a little signal but it will drop a call within a few minutes. The only reliable way to stay connected on a voice call is when it's using wifi calling. So I'm trying to find a way to force my phone to wifi calling and I believe turning on airplane mode is the only way to do this
